Arapaho and White River National Forests. The range was named for Sir George Gore, an
Irish Baronet who visited the area in the 1850’s on a notorious hunting expedition. The

We started out to find a weathered barn to immortalize with our brushes; however, as we came around the bend in the road, Wendy and I noticed how the trees in the foreground framed the distant barn perfectly. It is a heartwarming scene that has been familiar to me all my life and charmed my husband Kevin.

It depicts the small town of Whitehall WI during the Holiday Season. The Amish buggy heads home through the streets in the evening light.

The decorations may change over the years but the colored light on the cold nights still warms our hearts.

The star that is seen on top of the hill in the background lights up the night sky.
