Serenity
Enhanced Canvas Giclee from an original oil painting.
The painting was inspired by a trip we took to VanDusen Botanical Gardens in Vancouver BC., with our two little girls.
VanDusen Botanical Garden is situated in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Named for local lumberman and philanthropist Whitford Julian VanDusen, it has been a public garden since its opening on August 30th, 1975. The garden covers 55 acres and displays plants gathered from all over the world.
They have a large collection of species and hybrid Rhododendron, Beech Trees, as well as collections of Mountain-ash, and Magnolia.
Specialized niche plantings include a Heather garden, a “black” garden, a seasonal “Laburnum walk”, a majestic stand of sequoiadendron giganteum, a cypress pond, a formal perennial garden, a heritage vegetable garden a fragrance garden and a large sino-Himalayan garden.
The variety of colors and fragrances awaken all the senses!
